“I attended my first fitness class at SourcePoint with Dyan Trent as the instructor in April 2024. I was very hesitant and unsure of what it might be like as I am not anyone's idea of 'fit.'  My apprehension quickly dissipated as Dyan began the training. She is truly in her element when leading a class. It was just what I needed. I didn't feel out of place, so much so that I immediately signed up for the Thursday class. After three months, I felt stronger, more agile, and most importantly, my sense of well-being was markedly improved. I added a 4-week personal training session with Dyan. Working one-on-one with Dyan was great. I am taking a third class from Dyan and credit her with my fresh outlook. I didn't realize how depressed I was until I started exercising and feeling better. “I met Dyan in her Body Sculpting class and was impressed with the exercises she chose for the class. I worked hard, but she clarified that I could modify the exercise, if needed, or rest and continue when I felt comfortable. After class, Dyan shared that she also offers personal training, and I wanted to improve my strength. Dyan helped me get started, and I believe it was one of the most important things I have done to stay healthy and happy at age 78. Dyan is very knowledgeable in this field. She created a plan for me to follow using my own personal goals. The activities are designed and explained thoroughly. Realistic goals are set based on my abilities, and Dyan provides constant reinforcement. I have improved in the areas of balance, strength, and agility. Dyan keeps everything interesting by adding new exercises when she feels I am ready. Dyan also checks with me after a strenuous workout to ensure I am eating protein, drinking enough water, and dealing with muscle soreness. Not many personal trainers would do that. Dyan makes each session fun, which helps to keep me motivated. She encourages me with her happy, high-energy personality. We joke and laugh; before I realize it, my session is over. I have been so impressed with Dyan’s knowledge, skills, and ability to work with senior clients that I also convinced my husband, Tom, to work with her.
